By Schell Brothers, in Beachfront Banter

Frank and Adam are back with another laid-back episode of Beachfront Banter with Josh Hoinowski. This time taking a walk through Cardinal Grove and breaking down everything that makes this community stand out. From its unbeatable Lewes location to some seriously sought-after floor plans and a value that’s getting harder to find in the area, they cover it all. Along the way, the Blokes are joined by Josh, bringing the usual mix of insight, laughs, and a little chaos. It’s part community spotlight, part behind-the-scenes perspective—and all classic Beachfront Banter.

The First Call Matters: Talking with Grace Hoinowski

By Schell Brothers, in Beachfront Banter

In this latest episode, Frank and Adam sit down with Grace Hoinowski, Schell Brothers’ Online Sales Consultant (OSC), who truly operates on the front front line of the homebuying journey. Before most future homeowners ever step into a model, Grace is already helping guide them toward the right community based on their specific wants and needs, bridging that initial interest into a clear and confident next step. While the sales team is often seen as the front line, Grace is the first connection that sets the tone for everything that follows. The conversation dives into the importance of that early interaction, along with the insight and strategy behind getting future homeowners dialed into the right fit from the start. It’s also a fun, laugh-filled episode packed with stories and real moments, showcasing the dynamic between not just colleagues, but longtime friends.

Shell Yeah, Let’s Bounce at the Beach – With Jim and Julie Derrick

By Schell Brothers, in Beachfront Banter

In this episode, Frank and Adam sit down with Jim and Julie Derrick to hear the story behind Jim’s family connection to the iconic Sea Shell Shop and how that piece of Rehoboth Beach history helped shape his entrepreneurial journey. The conversation also dives into how Jim and Julie created Shell We Bounce, one of the most popular indoor attractions in Lewes. Along the way, they share stories about business, family, and the fun (and sometimes unexpected) path that led them to building a trampoline park together. It’s a light, entertaining episode full of local history, laughs, and a behind-the-scenes look at two familiar coastal Delaware names.

Banter on the Bay with David Green

By Schell Brothers, in Beachfront Banter

This week on Beachfront Banter, Frank and Adam take the mic to the marina and set sail with Dave Green of Cape Water Tours. What started in 2012 as a Green family venture has grown into one of coastal Delaware’s most memorable on-the-water experiences — from dolphin cruises and sunset sails to live music nights and narrated ecology tours. Dave shares the story behind the business, the local history that shaped it, and how their water taxi makes cruising between Lewes and Rehoboth Beach part of the fun instead of the traffic. We also dive into off-season seal and bird watching, hidden shoreline gems, and why the best part of any trip isn’t just the view — it’s the people onboard. One thing’s for sure: by the end of this episode, you’ll be ready to leave your worries at the dock.

A Seat at the Table for Everyone

By Schell Brothers, in Beachfront Banter

This week on Beachfront Banter, Frank and Adam are joined by Scott Kammerer, the driving force behind SoDel Concepts — 22 operations strong, including 18 coastal Delaware restaurants, two brewpubs, sports concessions, and a wedding-and-events venue. Scott shares how he built more than just restaurants — he helped shape a culture along the Delaware coast rooted in collaboration over competition. We dive into the mindset that’s fueled his growth: when one business wins, the whole community wins. From hospitality to leadership to championing fellow local operators, Scott shows us what it really means to serve more than just great food. No scripts, just stories — and this one’s packed with flavor.

By Schell Brothers, in Beachfront Banter

In this episode of Beachfront Banter, Frank and Adam are joined by Scott Dennis—aka the “Jack of All Things Solar”—for a laid-back conversation fueled by good drinks and even better stories. Scott pulls back the curtain on Clean Energy USA, Schell Brothers’ very own solar company, and how it’s changing the game in clean energy. The trio dives into solar myths, real-world impact, and why sustainable living doesn’t have to be complicated (or boring). Between laughs and pours, Scott shares his unique path in the solar world and what excites him most about the future of energy. No script, just stories—with a little sunshine mixed in.
