Bike, hike and enjoy this beautiful, wooded 6.4 mile trail that winds through Cape Henlopen State Park and is surrounded by wetlands and farmland. The trail runs from Gills Neck Road in Lewes to the town of Rehoboth Beach and provides easy access to both Lewes and Rehoboth. This is a primarily flat crushed stone trail and accommodates individuals of all ages!

Trail Highlights

Not only does the trail offer access to Lewes and Rehoboth, bargain hunters will love that the trail runs directly behind the Tanger Outlets. There are many scenic spots along the route, most notably the gorgeous wetland views from a refurbished 80 foot railroad bridge circa 1913. You will enjoy views of wetlands, open pasture, and cornfields during your hike. Hawks, geese, deer, squirrels and other small woodland animals can be spotted on the trail. There are several benches positioned along the trail to rest and watch nature.
