We all go a little Pumpkin crazy when the Fall hits us, but the beach goes especially ‘punkin’ crazy. Wawa starts to make their Pumpkin spice coffee, Hopkins Creamery sell their pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin pies from every bakery and restaurant and Dorman’s does pumpkin donuts.
The amazing Dogfish Head Brewery bring out their Punkin Ale, which flies off the shelves so quickly, if you blink they’re all gone! If it can be pumpkin flavored, someone will make it! You can even go and pick out your very own pumpkins out in Lewes.
The month of November is very well known for the big Punkin Chunkin World Championships. Another weird but wonderful event that has to be on your bucket list and has to be experienced. If you’ve never been to Punkin Chunkin, the idea is these huge machines fling pumpkins as far as possible with smashing results.
It’s not the only event in the month but it doesn’t get more pumpkin crazy than that. Have a look below at some of the events that are happening around the area.
