Hi, I’m Derek! My wife and I recently traded in the charm of Charleston, South Carolina for the beautiful coasts of Delaware, and we already feel right at home. Joining Schell Brothers has been an incredible experience. I’ve worked with several builders over the years, but none compare to the quality, culture, and genuine heart that Schell brings to every home and every relationship.

Helping people build their dream home has always been my passion. There’s nothing better than seeing that vision come to life and watching families light up when they walk through their front door for the very first time.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find us enjoying a beach day, hopping aboard the Cape May–Lewes Ferry, or hunting down our next favorite local restaurant. We’re big foodies and love exploring all the great spots that make Coastal Delaware such a special place to live.
