I grew up in California and, after visiting friends who had moved to Idaho, I immediately fell in love with everything this area has to offer. After spending time in Boise, Eagle, Meridian, and McCall, I knew Idaho was where I wanted to call home. From the mountains and lakes to the restaurants and sense of community, Boise quickly felt like the perfect fit.
When I’m not talking about homes, you can usually find me exploring Idaho with my fiancé, Mason, and our black Lab/ border collie, Hazel. Hazel firmly believes that any activity involving water was planned specifically for her. Fishing, paddleboarding, surfing, swimming in the lake or river, or jumping into the pool, she is always ready! Mason and I also love traveling, skiing, camping, hosting our friends and family, and trying new restaurants. We are major foodies and love experiencing food from around the world, whether we are traveling, discovering a new local restaurant, or attempting to recreate something together in our own kitchen.
Growing up around the construction world and relocating numerous times, I am no stranger to the building and moving process. I understand that moving is about so much more than choosing a location, and building a home is about much more than bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage.
A home should reflect the people who live there and the life they want to create. It might be the backyard where the rescue dogs finally have room to run, the theater room inspired by a lifelong love of cinema, the home gym that becomes a personal retreat, or the bonus room where the grandkids can play. It might be a wet bar made for wining and dining visiting friends, a kitchen where the whole family gathers, or a porch that becomes someone’s favorite place to slow down and enjoy an Idaho evening.
That is what I genuinely love most about what I do. I get to learn people’s stories, discover how they really want to live, and help them personalize a home around the people, passions, and moments that matter most to them. Watching those ideas turn into real spaces is incredibly special, and I love getting to be part of that process.
Schell Brothers is all about happiness, connection, and creating homes that are truly personal. I am so excited to help bring that experience to families throughout the Treasure Valley. Whether you are relocating to Idaho, searching for more space, simplifying your lifestyle, or just beginning to dream about what comes next, I would love to meet you, hear your story, and help you create a home that feels completely your own!
