Melissa Marino

Hi, I’m
Melissa Marino!

Online Sales Consultant

Hey there! I'm Melissa Marino, the Delaware native with the mysteriously untraceable accent, so I’ve been told – all thanks to DuPont's nomadic adventures during my youth. Picture this: way back, like a hundred years ago (okay, maybe not that long), I proudly rocked the Blue Hen vibes at University of Delaware. Dad had this grand plan for me to be "well rounded.” Challenge accepted. Move over, Mom, the NY fashion designer, and Dad with the engineering smarts. You have a kid with neither talents – gotta love their sense of humor! I come from a proud Italian heritage, the youngest of three kids. It's in my blood – the passion, the love for family, and, of course, the delicious food!

Now, let's fast forward to the Summer of 2008 – an old friend goes, "Hey, Melissa, you should totally interview with Schell." Plot twist alert! That friend is now my fantastic boss. For a glorious 15 years, I've been riding the wave of Schell Brothers' growth, meeting amazing people, and making memories in and out of model homes with the big Schell family.

Outside of work, I'm a runner – yup, I ran the 2023 NYC marathon and celebrated my 60th birthday in the same year! Age is just a number, right? Cheers to defying expectations! Oh yeah, and I ate my way through New York!

Now, back to family – I have a son I adore and a granddog. They both live near the mountains, but I'm more of a sand-between-my-toes person. Give me the beach vibes any day.

If you're up for swapping stories about marathons, dogs, Italian traditions, or just life's crazy adventures, count me in!

But hey, let's talk tears, not the sad kind – the heartwarming, emotional kind. Delivering new homes is like conducting a symphony of feels. Homeowners tear up because I remember their Aunt Mildred's cat's name and deliver a gift in memoriam. It's like writing new stories, one home at a time.

Speaking of new stories, the past 3 years brought health, personal, and moving changes for myself, so can I relate to planning the next chapter? Yes, I can! I’m here to help you plan yours and have fun doing it.
