Why you’ll love Governors.
Governors is the only Schell Brothers’ community East of Route 1 so you will never fight the summer traffic to get to the beach. It is also the closest Schell community to the ocean and downtown Lewes. Additionally, the amenities are completed and ready to enjoy immediately.

Everyday Adventure Awaits
The 6-mile scenic Junction & Breakwater Trail extends from Lewes to Rehoboth Beach for walkers, runners, and riders.
Not only does the trail offer access to Lewes and Rehoboth, bargain hunters will love that the trail runs directly behind the Tanger Outlets. There are many scenic spots along the route, most notably the gorgeous wetland views from a refurbished 80 foot railroad bridge circa 1913. You will enjoy views of wetlands, open pasture, and cornfields during your hike. Hawks, geese, deer, squirrels and other small woodland animals can be spotted on the trail. There are several benches positioned along the trail to rest and watch nature. View Trail Map
