or speedway, depending on who\u2019s skating &#8212; that winds through a 45-foot tunnel of lights.<\/li><li>A brand-new maze featuring 1,200 trees to get lost in<\/li><li>Two trains just waiting for riders to take in the festive sights<\/li><li>14 firepits, 18 artisan craft shops, a giant heated tent (with a bar) overlooking the roller rink and a food truck alley<\/li><li>The snow zone, where kids can play in igloos and have \u201csnowball fights\u201d with lightweight balls<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Schellville volunteers have the added benefit of watching the crowds have a blast &#8212; and knowing they are playing a part in bringing big smiles to a lot of little faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole extravaganza takes place in a sparkling light-draped, candy-cane-covered, super-decorated playland just behind the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tangeroutlet.com\/rehoboth\">Tanger Outlets Seaside<\/a> mall on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"668\" src=\"https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BrochureMapFileForFlattening-1024x668.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8632\" srcset=\"https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BrochureMapFileForFlattening-1024x668.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BrochureMapFileForFlattening-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BrochureMapFileForFlattening-768x501.jpg 768w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BrochureMapFileForFlattening-1536x1001.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BrochureMapFileForFlattening.jpg 2000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Schellville got its start in 2017, when Director of Marketing Alyssa Titus went to her boss, holiday celebration superfan Chris Schell, with a cute idea. \u201cFor Christmas, I wanted us to build a giant interactive gingerbread house,\u201d she told him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris mulled it over for a minute. \u201cHow about a whole village of houses?\u201d he said. And that year, the nine mini-homes of Schellville were built along the water at the parking lot for the Lewes-Cape May Ferry. It featured tiny workshops, a place for kids to write letters to Santa, and a miniature <a href=\"https:\/\/history.delaware.gov\/zwaanendael-museum\/\">Zwaanendael Museum<\/a> among its attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"605\" src=\"https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Schellville_DSC_1507-1024x605.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Schellville_DSC_1507-1024x605.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Schellville_DSC_1507-300x177.jpg 300w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Schellville_DSC_1507-768x454.jpg 768w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Schellville_DSC_1507-1536x907.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Schellville_DSC_1507-2048x1210.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It didn\u2019t take long for the crowds to swell and the village got bigger &#8212; first moving farther north to Hudson Fields, and now this year in a significantly expanded location behind the outlets, which Tanger is letting Schell rent without a charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/schellbrothers.com\/find-new-homes\/delaware-beaches\/?gclid=CjwKCAjwz5iMBhAEEiwAMEAwGN5xFw4_7iRi-ZYctsah_Ewp6t1rvTRpvl5CeTbJ9cYieZ-JBmXtbxoCkhcQAvD_BwE\">Schell Brothers Homes<\/a> &#8212;
