Christmas magic runs strong at Schell Brothers, so brace yourselves for a whole lot of cheer over the next 55 days. Our model homes are being magically transformed\u00a0into miniature versions of Santa\u2019s workshop\u00a0and\u00a0our Christmas billboards are being hung with care, but what really has us ramped up for the holiday season is the debut of <a href=\"http:\/\/wonderfestde.org\/\">Winter WonderFEST<\/a>!<br \/>\nThe kickoff to the holiday spectacular is just a few weeks away, at which point\u00a0we\u2019ll lace up our running shoes and hit the snow (well, not really but one can dream) for the Dashing Through the Snow Fun Walk and 5K. This is your chance to get up close with the Light Spectacular, which features over 60 light displays. You\u2019ll also gain entry to the Opening Night Party at Crooked Hammock. The race will take place at Cape Henlopen State Park at 6pm on November 18. To register click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.races2run.com\/events\/dashing-through-the-show\/\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\nAs for the full\u00a0lineup for\u00a0Winter WonderFEST, which runs from the kickoff event on November 18 until January 1, there are plenty of chances to revel in the holiday magic. Taking place entirely in Lewes, Winter WonderFEST features a Light Spectacular and a Christmas Village. The Christmas Village, which is located on the Cape May-Lewes Terminal Grounds, will include carnival rides and amusements, an ice skating rink, crafts and activities at Santa\u2019s Workshop (along with the man himself of course), and special events and concerts. Over at Cape Henlopen State Park, you&#8217;ll find\u00a0the\u00a02-mile drive-thru holiday light show, complete with 60 dazzling light displays and an in-car scavenger hunt!<br \/>\nPerhaps our favorite part of Winter WonderFEST is the fact that the\u00a0the\u00a0event\u00a0was\u00a0engineered to\u00a0generate funding\u00a0for\u00a0the various non-profits that serve the residents and visitors of Sussex County. Winter WonderFEST is produced by a newly established non-profit, Festival of Cheer Inc., whose mission this holiday season is to spread a little\u00a0holiday\u00a0magic, provide a family-friendly event, and bolster our area non-profits. Isn\u2019t that what the holidays are all about? Good will and holiday\u00a0cheer??
