I\u2019ve been fortunate over my nearly 15 years with Schell Brothers to launch several of our most exclusive communities. There\u2019s nothing quite like the thrill of starting a new one, watching a blank canvas transform into a vibrant neighborhood and painting that vision for the very first homeowners. Sharing my passion for the beaches, especially Lewes, and the authentic local lifestyle is one of the best parts of my job. Coastal Delaware truly offers a brilliant way of life.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our latest project, Black Oak<\/a>, is one I\u2019ve personally been eager to unveil since the huge success of Governors. Located on New Road, East of Route 1, or as some say, the \u201cBay side\u201d of Route 1, Black Oak<\/a> has already made a splash. The location is, in my opinion, the most sought-after real estate in the area. I\u2019ve had a list of eager buyers waiting right alongside me to be part of this exclusive community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve even given our earliest homeowners a special title: the Black Oak Founders Club<\/strong> (BOFC), inspired by the European flair of football (soccer) clubs. Established in 2025, this group will forever have the unique distinction of seeing the community from its very first days to completion. It\u2019s a pretty special club to belong to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So why did they join? Sure, I can paint a masterpiece of the Lewes lifestyle and pour plenty of Tipsy Blokes beer, but ultimately the choice is theirs. In our upcoming BOFC blog series, we\u2019ll hear directly from the homeowners about why they chose Black Oak<\/a>, why they chose Schell Brothers, and why they chose Lewes.
